Oh HEY!!!

Allow me to introduce myself.

I’m KYLIE CLARE, an Iowa | Midwest based photographer. A girl who grew up with three brothers, played all the sports, wore all the boy hand-me-downs, went to college, and became a fashion major. Now, I’m a photographer - funny how that works!

I have always had a passion for making people feel confident and beautiful in their own skin though this first started out with clothes. I’ve styled in many different stores helping people look their best to rock that high school reunion or to just find a style that suits them best. I loved styling the clothes and later learned that styling the whole picture was even better. So I picked up a camera.

I’m totally self-taught and continue to learn new things every day. I am so in love with what I do because, not only do I get to make individuals feel amazing about themselves, but I get to capture memories for them that will truly last forever - the quiet glances, the loud laughs, the perfectly posed, and the beautifully unplanned. It’s my favorite thing to do and I’d be so honored to capture you and your most favorite people on your best day.

Okay, enough of the serious talk. Here are some fun facts about me:

. I have a daughter and a son - two under two and it’s my favorite thing about me.

. My husband’s name is Axel and he was not given a middle name in case he wanted to change his first name.

. I have a twin brother.

. I have twelve nieces and nephews - I love kids and will be playing peek-a-boo at your family session with littles.

. I tried my first fast food burger like three days ago … yeah I’m a chicken gal.

. I like to say I am 5’12” so it doesn’t sound so tall … is it working?
